MST for NCAA Athletes...

MST for NCAA Athletes
Whether you're a collegiate basketball player, football player, swimmer, volleyball player, in fact participate in any sport in the NCAA, Mental Skills Training (MST) is designed to enhance your performance.
As discussed in the "Mental Skills Training" section, working on MST with a sport psychology professional provides you with:
- a setting to explore and develop your self-awareness of your athletic performances and overall sports participation.
- a variety of mental game tools that help you improve your focus, self-talk, ability to handle pressure, recovery from making a mistake, visualization, build confidence, set goals, stay motivated, develop a pre-performance routine and, where appropriate, a pre-shot routine e.g. free throw routine.
- the opportunity to talk to somebody neutral about issues that may arise in the sports setting e.g. relationship with coaches, balancing school and sports participation, transitioning from high school to college, coping with expectations.
Mark has an appreciation for all sports participation. He has worked with many NCAA athletes and from a range of sports including basketball, baseball, football, track (from sprinting to 3200m), tennis, golf, swimming, soccer, archery and fencing. Please also be sure to visit the NCAA Testimonials page.
If you are interested in individual consultations or in bringing MST to your men's or women's team, please contact Mark today.
